Photoshop isn't a good program for using type. Do a search on Google for free fonts and you'll find plenty. If you're using Windows go to the Fonts folder and pull down ';install new fonts';. Locate them and make sure the ';copy to fonts folder'; is selected.Does anyone know where to download fonts for Photoshop?
If you aren't going to use a font often it might be best to not install it into Windows. You can open the font by clicking on it and then opening Photoshop.





There are font manager programs out there too that allow you install and uninstall fonts that you are using or not using at any given time. Don't uninstall any font that came with windows or was installed by another program you are running.

are you talking about the rough edges? It's pretty easy. after you place your text in photoshop, via illustrator or the text tool, just select the eraser tool, pick a brush that's appropriate, (rough and uneven) adjust the size of the brush and start erasing the edges of the letters. the cool thing about photoshop is that there are usually half a dozen ways to do the same thing. This is one of them.

It is easy to do that.


just go to ';Select'; menu and then click on ';Color Range';. In new window you must select your sampled colors. It's better to use ';Shadows'; mode as sampled colors for your work. After this click OK and right click on picture and click on select inverse. Then use delete key.





(for more accuracy, in Color range window you can click on any color of your picture that you want to select)How can i do this on photoshop?
Up the contrast a little so the black areas are black rather than dark grey...





Use the magic wand to select the black areas (hold down ctrl to add another area, there should be a little cross next to the wand if it will add). When they're all selected, go to Select-%26gt;Invert Selection. This should select everything that's not black. Then press ';delete'; or ';backspace';.

It depends on the image. But you can use Eraser, but that might take a while. You can also use Polygonal Lasso Tool as well. Using magic Wand Tool is good as well. You can click on the pure black colors and just Select Inverse to pick out the non-black colors then delete. Or use Magic Wand on the non-black colors then delete.





But these methods can't really be applied to all, so it all depends on the image. :|| Sorry if this is all so confusing. :(

Without knowing how skilled you are with photoshop I don't know what to tell you. There are many different tutorials you can find to create images such as that. You'd have to use different layers, filters, brushes, settings, etc. to end up with a final image like that.
special brushkits/burn and dodge in photoshop with multiple layers. Takes years of practice, google photoshop tutorials to learn more
That is a relatively complicated photoshop project. I am sure that image is the result of many many layers and steps to get it to that final point.





To explain them all would take too long.
The glowing light effects can be pulled off with the pen tool. All you need to do is set your brush to a soft brush then go back to your pen tool, make a curve or whatever you would like, Right click %26gt; Stroke. Be sure to set the stroke to Brush and simulate pressure. Then you would use layer styles to pull of the color.
What they've done is to create a layer under the people and used brushes to create those glowing lights.

One way you could do it is use the blurred paint brush and draw where you want (put all this in a new layer) and then double click on the layer. It'll bring up the special effects menu and you can do things such as inner/outer glow, bevel and emboss, and much more.
The glows you draw with a soft brush and then do the color glow in layer properties dropshadow.





After that flatten that layer by merging it with an empty layer. Now you can take the whole layer and diffuse it with a gaussian blur.

How can I back up Adobe Photoshop if I cant find the Install Package?

I was told to put the put the install package on a CD but I cant find it and I scanned for it and everything still nothing. Is there another way to back it up so it works on other computers because mine may die soon and I want to put it on my other computer

1. Make a new layer


-bottom right corner [it should be there] drag the small icon of the photo and where it says ';background'; down to the square icon with a flap up like a page in a book [next to trash can]





you will now have 2 icons of your photograph. make sure ';background Copy'; is highlighted





2. at the top menu bar go to Image


then to Adjustments


then click desaturate


-the picture is now in BW





3.on the tool bar on the left click the eraser tool


make the brush the correct size and start erasing the lips..you are erasing the black and white and letting the original color come through.





4.on the top menu bar go to Layer


then towards the bottem click Flatten Image

Go o www.bitcomet.com and download it. Its a torrent downloading program. Search the internet for the newest version of Photoshop. Then search for a Photoshop Torrent. I used Photoshop CS3 torrent, it will say working KeyGen, thats what makes it free! Download the one at the top of the list with a lot of Seeders. It will take a while because its a large program then use common sense to install and run the KeyGen then take what the KeyGen says and put it in the required field during installation. VwaLah! You now have Photoshop or ANY other program you want or full Album or Movie or anything you can find thats a Torrent. This is BEST ANSWER.

It sounds like you have the mode set to greyscale. Under Image go to mode and choose either RGB or CMYK.





Note CMYK is used for printing, but if you're printing off your computer it doesn't make any difference if you use CMYK or RGB, except it's a matter of preference because it changes the curves tool.





If its an image for the web you must use RGB mode.

What do you mean that's not as large as Adobe? Once installed Photoshop CS2 is only 218mb. Or are you talking about the extensiveness of the software not the actual size it takes up on a computer?
