How could i save a Photoshop file to PDF file with the regular diskspace for the regular PDF files?

I'm trying to save a one page file designed with Photoshop as a PDF file.

the file is 800*600 pxl.

When i tried to save the file, even it has no high quality, and even i saved it with the lowest quality, the one page file saved on about 500KB.

the common on the PDFs is that the multiple page files are like 500KB with 20 pages.

Is there is something i missing here? Is there is a right way to save the file on a small disk space? How could i save a Photoshop file to PDF file with the regular diskspace for the regular PDF files?
When you r saving the pdf file use jpeg compression for less size.

Follow this,

Select ';save as'; frm menu and while saving set format type to ';photoshop PDF';. Click save.

Now it will ask you the PDF options. Select JPEG Encoding and set quality level as you want. And click Ok.

This will make small size PDF file than ZIP compression Encoding. How could i save a Photoshop file to PDF file with the regular diskspace for the regular PDF files?
The small PDFs you are talking about normally only contain text and line graphics (both of which use up little space). If a PDF contains image graphics, such as bmp or jpg, presumably what you are trying to save, it will use up a lot more space.
