How do you drag a photo to make a layout on photoshop cs3? ?

I have photoshop cs3 and i want to make a layout.


i pretty much know how to make one, but Im having a problem trying to drag a photo onto the layer.





please help me. :)) How do you drag a photo to make a layout on photoshop cs3? ?
What I think you're dealing with is when you originally open your photo, the layer is locked and cannot be moved around and other edits are restricted. It's a simple fix without creating an new layer.





In the layer pallette, double-click the layer 鈥?not the thumbnail image, but the gray area next to the layer name. This brings up a window with the layer properties. Notice there is a checkmark for 'Locked' and by default it is unchecked. So click OK (or hit enter) and your layer is now unlocked.How do you drag a photo to make a layout on photoshop cs3? ?
okay i've had the same problem and this is what you do open the picture resize(what ever you need to do) then control+a on windows am not sure on mac but this is the select all tool then control+c and move to you layout the press control+v these are th copy and paste tools the that should be it
Here is a step by step tutorial that will work for layouts too. Very easy.
